Greenberg Traurig’s Kelly Bunting to Speak at SHRM’s 2017 Employment Law & Legislative Conference

WASHINGTON - March 10, 2017- Kelly  Bunting, a shareholder in the Philadelphia office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak at the 2017 Employment Law & Legislative Conference presented by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) March 13, 2017 in Washington,  D.C.

According to SHRM’s website, this conference provides attendees with the latest legislative updates, compliance and regulatory issues, and gives them an opportunity to visit with congressional offices. Bunting’s presentation, “Updating Your Employment Handbook and Harassment Training to Include the LGBT Workforce,” will cover best practice guidelines for inclusive employment handbook policies and training. She will give updates on the status of federal and state law as well as legislation regarding protection for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) employees and mandates for employers. She will also discuss the possible impact the new administration and a new Supreme Court justice may have on current and future law and legislation.

Bunting, a Labor & Employment shareholder, focuses her practice on: class and collective employment-related actions; wage and hour issues; discrimination, harassment and retaliation avoidance; whistleblower claims; labor issues; internal audits and investigations; global employment issues and compliance.
