Greenberg Traurig Elevates 4 Attorneys in California

SAN FRANCISCO and LOS ANGELES – April 3, 2017 – As global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP began its 50th year, it announced 2017 elevations, which included Jamie R. Adams and Alison M. Gathright to shareholder within its San Francisco office, and Lindsay E. Hutner and John J. Loncto to of counsel within its San Francisco and Los Angeles offices, respectively.

Adams (San Francisco – Labor & Employment Practice) represents clients in labor and employment suits in state and federal court. Also handling traditional labor law, she advises management in collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, and unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board. Adams routinely consults with human resources professionals, executives, and board members regarding all aspects of the employment relationship, including hiring and firing practices, employment contracts, enforceability of covenants not to compete, and reductions in force. Adams received her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law (2007) and her B.A. from the University of Southern California (2004).  

Gathright (San Francisco – Corporate & Securities Practice) handles corporate and securities matters with a focus on the representation of private equity funds and their portfolio companies. She has deep transactional experience structuring and negotiating strategic and leveraged acquisitions of public and private targets, as well as handling divestitures, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Gathright helps clients with equity financings, minority and venture capital investments, restructurings, executive compensation matters, corporate governance, and other general corporate matters. She received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center (2007) and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Vanderbilt University (2004).

Hutner (San Francisco – Labor & Employment Practice) focuses on employment law with an emphasis on litigation matters. She represents clients in both federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies, defending companies in both class actions and single-plaintiff cases involving employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, unfair competition, enforcement of non-competes and other restrictive covenants, misappropriation of trade secrets, wrongful termination, and breach of contract. Hutner also drafts all types of employment agreements, including executive employment contracts and severance and release agreements, and consults clients on all aspects of the employment relationship. She received her J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law (2005) and her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles (2002).

Loncto (Los Angeles – Corporate & Securities Practice) focuses on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital financings, EB-5 financings, and corporate formation and governance. He has represented private equity real estate funds and joint ventures in connection with their formation and investment activities. Prior to becoming an attorney, Loncto served as an officer in the U. S. Navy, earned an MBA from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, and worked as a management consultant for an international consulting firm. He received his J.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles (2002), his M.B.A from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Rochester (1989).
