HOUSTON  ̶  August 1, 2018  ̶  Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP continues its strategic growth in Texas with the addition of Stephen Edmundson in its Houston office Litigation Practice as of counsel. Greenberg Traurig has more than 125 attorneys in Texas and continues to grow in the state; serving clients from offices in Austin and Houston, in addition to Dallas. Previously, Edmundson was with Cozen O'Connor.

"Stephen's insurance experience focused on business and construction litigation will allow us to further expand what we can offer clients with matters in those areas," said Jim Leahy, Houston shareholder and Chair of the firm's Energy Litigation Practice.

Edmundson focuses his practice on commercial defense litigation, including business, insurance (coverage, fraud, bad faith, and sales), construction, personal injury, and property loss disputes. "Changing firms was not a decision that I made lightly, but I am excited about the move. Greenberg Traurig’s reputation, experience, and reach will give me the opportunity to further grow my practice and refine my craft. I am looking forward to contributing to the firm’s continued growth, development, and success," Edmundson said.
