Greenberg Traurig Santa Maria Assists Reale Immobili in the Acquisition of the GO Italia IV Real Estate Fund

MILAN - 4 August 2021 - Reale Immobili S.p.A. has completed an acquisition from BentallGreenOak of 100% of the shares of the real estate fund GO Italia IV, owner of a real estate complex located in Piazzale Flaminio in Rome. The property, which houses the offices and the branch of a leading Italian bank, will be subject to a major redevelopment aimed at an up-scale repositioning of the building. The fund will change its name in "Fondo Reale Immobili" and will be managed by Castello SGR S.p.A.

Reale Immobili was assisted for the aspects related to the acquisition of the shares and the agreements with Castello SGR S.p.A. by a Greenberg Traurig Santa Maria team led by partner Marzio Longo together with senior associate Paolo Bolis and associate Francesca Leonelli.

Following the change of SGR, Intesa San Paolo S.p.A. granted a loan to the fund aimed, inter alia, at financing a portion of the capex on the property.
