Matthew F. Bruno

Matthew Bruno focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, class actions, consumer fraud, and business disputes. He represents clients throughout all stages of litigation, is well-versed in conducting discovery and taking depositions and has experience trying cases in state court. His clients range from Fortune 500 companies to entrepreneurs and start-up companies, operating in an array of industries, including telecommunications and technology, entertainment, retail, and life sciences.

Prior to private practice, Matthew clerked for the Honorable Peter G. Sheridan in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Honorable Mitchel E. Ostrer in the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.



  • Defended a lender, in a declaratory judgment action initiated by a film production company which sought rescission and other relief arising from a loan security agreement it entered with bank lenders.
  • Secured a multimillion-dollar judgment against a film production company, in a recent bench trial in the Commercial Division of the New York State Supreme Court.
