Sarah Fredrick is a Ph.D Chemist and an IP technical specialist in the firm’s Denver office. She focuses on patent preparation and prosecution and brings to her practice experience in energy generation (photovoltaics), energy storage (batteries/capacitors), electrochemistry, nanomaterials, alloys, inorganic chemistry, and solid-state chemistry.

As an undergraduate, Sarah did research in the field of analytical electrochemistry and received numerous scholarships to pursue chemical research. While working towards a PhD at Colorado State University, Sarah received a National Science Foundation Graduate Research fellowship.  Her doctoral thesis focused on synthesizing environmentally friendly and cost-effective nanomaterials for applications in solar cells and hydrogen storage. While working in industry, she gained experience in battery and capacitor technologies, working directly with customers in those markets.
