Tess Meyer counsels clients on a variety of healthcare regulatory, transactional, compliance and operational matters. Her clients include hospitals, provider groups, behavioral health organizations, insurers, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, private equity firms and other healthcare stakeholders. She routinely advises clients on a wide range of federal and state health care issues, including HIPAA and HITECH compliance, fraud and abuse, licensure, scope of practice rules, corporate practice of medicine, change of ownership and Medicare and Medicaid enrollment. She conducts regulatory compliance assessments and advises on and drafts policies and procedures. She also provides regulatory counsel for mergers and acquisitions and assists clients with due diligence and agreement drafting and negotiation.
