Hillsborough County Bar Association Pro Bono 5K River Run & Judicial Pig Roast

This year, HCBA is seeking to increase pro bono service pledges by our run participants with our new tagline for the run - #5K for 5K - highlighting our goal of raising 5,000 pro bono hour pledges through the run.  The goal of the race continues to be the pledging and performance of pro bono service from runners and walkers participating in the race, who also encourage others to support their participation by pledging their own pro bono hours.

The run will be entirely along the Riverwalk from Water Works Park down to USF Park and back. This will reduce any conflict with ongoing development and traffic, both vehicular and pedestrian, occurring along the original Run route. The Run will still be chip-timed for those who are competitive at heart!

Following the 5K Race, runners and HCBA members are invited to attend the Judicial Pig Roast on the Stetson Law Campus from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  This family-friendly event is a casual afternoon of good food and fun. The Judicial Pig Roast/Food Festival features a cook-off among law firms, judges, and other organizations, as well as a booth decoration contest, music, and time to relax and catch up with colleagues.
