The Texas Tribune Festival

The Texas Tribune is a nonpartisan, nonprofit media organization that informs Texans - and engages with them - about public policy, politics, government, and statewide issues. The 2019 Festival, presented in downtown Austin, features three days of programs, panels, and public discussion that draws a diverse audience of policy makers, stakeholders, educators, citizens, students, thought leaders and activists - both in person and online - to address the major issues facing our state. This year's Texas Tribune Festival speakers include 2020 presidential candidates, policy makers, American icons, media superstars, best-selling authors, and everyday citizens. Featured speakers deliver lectures, debate peers, and otherwise generate productive conversations on issues such as health care, education - public and higher, immigration, transportation, criminal justice, energy, open government, keynotes, and the environment. Demetrius McDaniel, Elizabeth Hadley, Karen Kennard, and Aaron Gregg are attending various festival events.
