Greenberg Traurig’s Edgar Olvera Jiménez will be panelist at GSMA Thrive Latin America’s session “Infrastructure successful models and the role of local authorities in Latin America” . 

Panel Description:
Anatel (Mexico’s National Telecommunications Association) and GSMA have worked together engaging authorities in Latin America in the improvement of local regulations that facilitate infrastructure deployment. This is critical to providing telecommunications services. Mayors from the region will share their experiences that led them to establish successful models, discussing the changes and the improvement that they expect to the quality of life of their constituents; what challenges remain will be as well under debate.
Anatel´s business representatives will interact and comment on the benefits they look forward to realizing, in particular the predictability of regulations and enhanced investment planning capabilities; all this will allow for the provision of better telecommunication services.
