GT Shareholder Steven M. Malina (CHI) was a speaker at PLI's Internal Investigations 2021 event on November 17, 2021. Steve moderated the panel, "Commencing the Internal Investigation: Considerations at the Outset," and was a panelist during the "Internal Investigations: Regulators Roundtable." The session discussed regulators' perspectives on internal investigations; disclosing investigations to regulators: why, when, and how; regulators' perspectives on how companies navigate whistleblower issues; maintaining a dialogue with the regulators during the investigation; what regulators will want to know; challenges posed by international investigations; and cooperation with the government: waiver issues & public disclosure of results.
