Greenberg Traurig Continues Growth with Addition of Employment Attorney Magan Pritam Ray to Corporate Practice

East Palo Alto, CA, April 2, 2008 – The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP welcomes Magan Pritam Ray. Previously with GCA Law Partners LLP, Ray joins the firm’s corporate and securities practice as a shareholder in its Silicon Valley office. She focuses on benefits, compensation, ERISA matters and employment counseling.

“We are excited to have such an outstanding employment attorney as Magan onboard. We have seen the need for sophisticated benefits and compensation counseling services continue to increase not only in our market, but in a number of our other offices where she will be supporting the firm’s clients, and her knowledge and wide-ranging experience further enhances our capabilities in this practice area,” said Todd Rumberger, co-managing shareholder of the Silicon Valley office.

“This is a very exciting move for me,” added Ray. “Greenberg Traurig has demonstrated continued growth in the Silicon Valley and across the nation. I look forward to working with the firm to further bolster its corporate practice by supplementing it with benefits counseling.”

Ray represents clients from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies in a wide range of employee benefits and employment counseling. Her experience includes the design and implementation of benefit and compensation plans, employment policies and procedures, and advising clients on benefits and employment issues in mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs and joint ventures. She has represented companies undergoing employment and tax audits before the Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor and Employment Development Department.
