MIAMI (Jan. 29, 2014) – Alfredo J. Gonzalez, a shareholder in the Land Development practice in the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. received the James McDonnell Outstanding Board of Governor Award from the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce. This award was presented at the Chamber’s annual Champions of Business Awards Luncheon Jan. 23, 2015.
The James McDonnell Outstanding Board of Governor Award is given annually to recognize a member of the Board of Governors for providing years of dedicated service to the advancement and growth of the Miami Beach Chamber.
“I am honored to receive this important recognition from my peers in the Miami Beach business community, ” Gonzalez said. “I look forward to helping to continue improving the quality of life for the Miami Beach community as a member of the Chamber of Commerce.”
Gonzalez was appointed Vice-Chair of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors in 2014.
At Greenberg Traurig, Gonzalez focuses his practice on the areas of local government law, particularly land use, zoning, code issues, procurement and development law. He represents major developers in securing governmental approvals on both large scale residential and commercial projects. Gonzalez has also represented clients with entertainment venues on a variety of matters, including conditional use permit approvals or noise violations.
