Kerri L. Barsh Named Miami Environmental “Lawyer of the Year”
MIAMI– Aug. 29, 2016 – The 2017 edition of Best Lawyers in America includes 15 attorneys from the Environmental Practice of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP and names Kerri L. Barsh as Miami Environmental “Lawyer of the Year.” Together these attorneys represent 13 metropolitan areas and over 160 years of recognition.
This year, more than 350 Greenberg Traurig attorneys from across the firm’s U.S. offices are listed in the publication, with 23 of the firm’s attorneys named “Lawyers of the Year.” For the 10th consecutive year, Greenberg Traurig is top-listed by Best Lawyers for having the highest number of attorneys listed.
According to the Best Lawyers website, the attorneys are selected based upon a peer-review process, in an effort to capture a general consensus from leaders in the legal field regarding their peers’ accomplishments and capabilities.
Only one lawyer in each practice area and designated metropolitan area is given the title “Lawyer of the Year.” Kerri L. Barsh, co-chair of the Environmental Practice, received this special recognition in 2017 for environmental law in the Miami metro area. She is also recognized for Litigation – Environmental and Natural Resources Law.
