8 Greenberg Traurig Philadelphia Attorneys Listed in 2018 Edition of Best Lawyers in America

PHILADELPHIA– August 30, 2017 – The 2018 edition of Best Lawyers in America includes eight attorneys from the Philadelphia office of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP. Together they represent eight practice areas and over 55 years of recognition.

This year, 370 Greenberg Traurig attorneys from across the firm’s U.S. offices are listed in the publication with 26 of the firm’s attorneys named “Lawyers of the Year.” This marks the 11th consecutive year the firm has more attorneys listed than any other law firm in the guide.

According to the Best Lawyers website, the attorneys are selected based upon a peer-review process, in an effort to capture a general consensus from leaders in the legal field regarding their peers’ accomplishments and capabilities.

The Philadelphia Greenberg Traurig attorneys listed in 2018 Best Lawyers in America are:

James N. Boudreau - Litigation-Labor and Employment
Boudreau represents management in class action and complex employment litigation and devotes the majority of his practice to managing teams of attorneys and paralegals in nationwide class and collective actions from receipt of the complaint through discovery, class certification and trial.

Dianne Coady Fisher - Public Finance Law
Fisher concentrates her practice in financing low or moderate income multifamily housing through the use of tax-exempt bonds. In addition to acting as bond and underwriter’s counsel, she has served as borrower’s, credit enhancer’s, bond purchaser’s (in private placement transactions), and swap provider’s counsel in multifamily housing transactions throughout the United States. Her practice involves restructuring of troubled financings, asset securitization involving tax-exempt bonds and other alternative financing structures. She also advises clients in the formation and management of public and private investment vehicles organized for the purpose of investing in various types of public finance transactions.

Robert M. Goldich - Employment Law – Management; Labor Law – Management; Litigation - Labor and Employment
Goldich has 40 years of experience as a labor and employment lawyer and litigator representing employers in all aspects of labor and employee relations, including general employment counseling, employment contract negotiation, collective bargaining negotiations, labor arbitration, and the representation of employers in administrative and courtroom litigation.

Kipnes focuses her practice on real estate matters, including the acquisition, development, disposition, leasing, and financing of office towers, industrial facilities, multifamily housing, and shopping centers.

Lehr has worked for the last 30 years as a transactional tax attorney, focusing his practice on the structuring and execution of complex securitizations and real estate financings, usually involving tax exempt obligations.

Vanessa Albert Lowry – Public Finance Law
Lowry focuses her practice on federal and state tax issues arising out of complex public finance transactions, including a particular focus on multifamily housing transactions, airport financings, and P3 project financings. This is her fifth year of recognition by Best Lawyers in America.

David G. Mandelbaum - Environmental Law; Litigation – Environmental; Water Law; Philadelphia “Lawyer of the Year” for environmental law
Mandelbaum represents clients in Superfund and hazardous waste cleanup matters, particularly contaminated sediment and natural resource damage issues. He also regularly handles permit appeals and citizen suits under the water pollution, air pollution, and solid waste laws.

Curtis B. Toll – Environmental Law
Toll represents developers and corporations in connection with the acquisition, development, transfer, financing, and sale of environmentally contaminated real estate including complex project redevelopments, environmental liability transfers, and the management and mitigation of environmental risk.
