WEST PALM BEACH – September 1, 2017 – Tracy L. Gerber, Co-Managing Shareholder of the West Palm Beach office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig P.A. has been appointed to the board of directors of the Suncoast High School Foundation as co-vice president.
The Suncoast High School Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) organization that seeks to sustain and enhance the academic mission of Suncoast High School by raising funds that help provide services, unique experiences and capital equipment not funded through the school district. In its ten-year history, the foundation has raised more than $1 million to provide educational opportunities for the 1,600 students who attend Suncoast High School annually. In addition to Gerber, other new board appointees include Bruno Perree, President of Concord Engineering and Michael DeBock, Executive Director of Gas Infrastructure for NextEra Energy and President & CEO of the Economic Council of Palm Beach County.

We are very fortunate to have them by our side as we continue to provide services, experiences and equipment to benefit the students, teachers and faculty at Suncoast Community High School,” said Peter Blatt, Board President.
At Greenberg Traurig, Gerber is Co-Chair of the Broker Dealer Securities Litigation Practice and a member of the National Labor & Employment Practice. She represents major broker-dealers in Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitrations, regulatory proceedings, and state and federal courts. Gerber was listed in the 2017 edition of “Power Leaders in Law” and named among the region’s “Influential Business Women” by the South Florida Business Journal.
