Greenberg Traurig Germany's digital due diligence tool GRETA awarded with PMN Management Award 2017
Last week, we were awarded as the leading law firm in the field of Legal Tech and innovative technology for our real estate due diligence solution GRETA (GREenberg Traurig Application) on occasion of the Professional Management Network (PMN) Award Gala in Frankfurt. The jury explained its decision as follows: “Instead of just watching, the law firm Greenberg Traurig Germany decided to actively shape the change – with GRETA. Greenberg Traurig Germany has recognized early on that digital tools do not take anything away from lawyers, but can in fact inspire them and boost their processes.” We are very pleased that we were able to convince the top-class jury and win the PMN award in the very first year in which Legal Tech initiatives of law firms were honored in the new category “technology”.
GRETA is a unique software tool that extracts and analyzes any kind of and all key data relevant for real estate due diligence processes from various types of documents using artificial intelligence. It creates the first ever standardized data basis for legal as well as commercial analytics. Reports are available for both clients and advisors for immediate online processing. Legal evaluations become quicker, more efficient, and are tailored to even better meet clients’ needs.
Initiated by Christian Schede, Managing Partner of Greenberg Traurig Germany, the IT application was developed by Henning Sieber and Wencke Bäsler in cooperation with the Legal Tech developer EVANA. “With a tool that is customizable to fit clients’ needs, we have made a quantum leap in the optimization of due diligence processes using artificial intelligence. GRETA will fundamentally change evaluation processes in real estate transactions by saving our clients and us time as well as resources, and by creating a standardized data basis for the analysis of individual stakeholders,” says Christian Schede.
