NEW YORK – May 30, 2018 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has been honored at Legal Information for Families Today (LIFT) at their 2018 gala. The awards ceremony was held May 14, in New York City.
The firm was honored for its commitment to providing pro bono legal services including its work to help children and families gain access to justice. The award was presented to Greenberg Traurig's Global Pro Bono Chair Caroline Heller by LIFT Board Member, Robert Schiffer, who is a Managing Director, Investments Group, of Greenberg Traurig client SL Green Realty Corp. Other honorees included Anthony Schlesinger, LIFT Board Member, and Eric L. Adams, Brooklyn Borough President.
LIFT is an organization dedicated to enhancing access to justice for children and families by providing legal information, community education, and compassionate guidance, while promoting system-wide reform of the courts and public agencies, according to their website.
