Sandy Chiu Speaks at Miami Media and Film Market Event

MIAMI – June 8, 2018 – Greenberg Traurig, P.A. attorney Sandy Chiu participated in a panel discussion at the 8th Edition of the Miami Media and Film Market (MMFM) 2018 event held at the Biltmore Hotel June 6. Her discussion, “What’s the Deal?” The Art of Entertainment Law, Packaging, Negotiating, Producing and IP in the Digital Age, addressed important aspects that impact the practice of entertainment law including copyright law, rights clearances, and licensing among others.

The MMFM is part of the 39th Hemispheric Congress of Latina Chambers of Commerce Industry (CAMACOL) Forum. The four-day program encourages trade development and advocacy and works in tandem with the Florida Trade program sponsored by the State of Florida by assisting small and minority owned companies to establish relationships between Miami and the global market place.

Chiu was joined on the panel by Andrew J. Curtis, Producer, Polite Storm; Bill O’Dowd, Founder and CEO, Dolphin Entertainment; and Jose Sariego, Partner, Bilzin Sumberg. The discussion was moderated by Jose Luis Martinez, Creative Director, MMFM.
