Greenberg Traurig’s Mark Kemple Receives National Law Journal’s Employment Law Trailblazer Award

LOS ANGELES – March 1, 2019 – Mark D. Kemple, co-chair of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Labor & Employment Class and Collective Action Practice and leader of the Southern California Labor & Employment Practice, has been named a 2019 Employment Law Trailblazer by the National Law Journal.

The Employment Law Trailblazer award recognizes legal professionals who “make their mark in various aspects of legal work in employment law,” according to the National Law Journal.

Kemple is a Labor & Employment Litigation shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Los Angeles office. An experienced trial attorney, his practice weighs heavily in employment class and individual litigation, where he focuses on the defense of wage/hour class actions and individual employment claims. He also handles consumer class litigation, false advertising, and unfair competition. Kemple has handled disputes for companies of all sizes, and has tried numerous lawsuits and arbitrations throughout the United States. He has argued appeals in three federal circuits and several state courts of appeal, including in the California Supreme Court.

Kemple has also been recognized as a Law360 MVP for Employment Law; in the Top 75 Labor & Employment Lawyers in California by the Los Angeles/San Francisco Daily Journal, and listed for Labor & Employment Litigation by both The Legal 500 United States and The Best Lawyers in America.
