Greenberg Traurig Elevates 4 Attorneys in Texas

HOUSTON – March 4, 2019 – The Texas offices of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP have elevated Todd Basile and Adelaida Vasquez to shareholder, and Audrey Chang and Peter Lacina to of counsel. Chang and Vasquez reside in the firm’s Houston office, while Basile and Lacina reside in the firm’s Dallas office. The firm opened in Texas more than 15 years ago and now has more than 125 attorneys in its three Texas offices.

  • Basile, a shareholder in the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice, helps technology companies protect and commercialize their innovations across a wide range of industries, including wearable robotics, medical devices, autonomous vehicles, nanotechnology, software, and aerospace. Basile also represents technology investors in M&A deals, negotiates IP licenses and technology development agreements, and assists clients in navigating intellectual property disputes.

  • Vasquez, a shareholder in the firm’s White Collar Defense & Special Investigations Practice, advises on a host of compliance and transactional due diligence issues arising out of various government regulations, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the UK Bribery Act.

  • Chang, of counsel in the Corporate Practice, advises and counsels corporate clients and commercial lenders in general commercial financings, senior and mezzanine secured financing transactions, and financings for leveraged buyouts.

  • Lacina, of counsel with the firm’s Litigation Practice, focuses his practice on general and complex commercial litigation, including contractual disputes and other business claims, property disputes, multidistrict products liability litigation, construction litigation, and litigation of claims under FELA.
