BOSTON – Nov. 16, 2020 – David C. Fixler, of counsel in Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Energy & Natural Resources Practice in the Boston office, is serving as co-chair of the 2020 Northeast Energy and Commerce Association’s (NECA) Power Markets Conference, being held virtually on Nov. 19. Fixler will also moderate the panel “Integration of Renewables and Reliability through CAISO’s Perspective” from 1:45 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
The event will feature a lively and interactive discussion among officials from five of the seven U.S. regional transmission organizations focusing on how the various power markets are integrating renewable energy and distributed energy resources while maintaining electric system reliability. Fixler serves as co-chair of NECA’s Power Markets Committee.
