GT Restructuring advises dental supplier Pluradent on insolvency in self-administration

GT Restructuring, the restructuring unit of Greenberg Traurig in Germany, advises the Offenbach-based company Pluradent, one of the largest German dental suppliers, in its debtor-in-possession proceedings. Gordon Geiser was appointed as Chief Restructuring Officer of the company. He is confident that the company will be successfully restructured by the summer.

GLS Logistik, the logistics company of Pluradent Group, has also filed for debtor-in-possession proceedings to restructuring its business. Christian Köhler-Ma has been appointed as Chief Restructuring Officer.

Pluradent was founded in 2001 through the merger of several regional dental suppliers. It forms the core of the Pluradent Group with over 1,000 employees. In addition to the trade with dental products, Pluradent has expanded its consulting services for new businesses and doctor’s offices as well as its technical service. The current situation was caused by the expiry of existing credit lines.
