Mian R. Wang Recognized by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly

BOSTON – March 4, 2020 – Greenberg Traurig, LLP Litigation Practice Associate Mian R. Wang was selected as an “Up & Coming Lawyer” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. The award recognizes attorneys who have been practicing and admitted to the Massachusetts Bar for 10 years or less, yet have already distinguished themselves in the practice of law. Wang will be honored for her contributions to the legal community at the annual Excellence in the Law event, to be held on April 30 at the Marriott Long Wharf Hotel.

Based in the firm’s Boston office, Wang focuses her practice on commercial litigation and bankruptcy litigation, including preference defense, UCC issues, lien avoidance, fraud, and breach of fiduciary duty. With respect to commercial litigation, her practice includes defense of breach of contract, deceptive trade practices, unfair competition, and non-compete disputes. 

A dedicated and active member of the American Bar Association (ABA) Business Law Section, Wang has held leadership positions as a Business Law Fellow of the ABA Business Law Section; vice-chair of the Women Business and Commercial Advocates Subcommittee; and programs director of the Professional Responsibility Committee. She is also an active member of the Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts and the Association of MIT Alumnae. In addition, Wang is a past participant in the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Women’s Leadership Program.

Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Wang clerked for the former Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, the Honorable Alvin W. Thompson.
