Diane Blagman Re-Elected to The Recording Academy’s D.C. Chapter Board of Governors

WASHINGTON D.C. – June 22, 2020 — Diane Blagman, Senior Director in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s  Government Law & Policy Practice, has been re-elected as a Board of Governor for the Washington, D.C. Chapter of The Recording Academy (the GRAMMYs) for the 2020-2021 term. 

 

Blagman will continue to serve as a Co-Chair of the Board’s Advocacy Committee. She has also previously served on the Nominating and Advocacy committees of the Washington, D.C. chapter.

 

With more than 25 years of federal advocacy experience, Blagman has represented numerous performers, songwriters, including the Recording Academy, the GRAMMY Foundation, SESAC, Inc., and Global Music Rights. Additionally, she provides strategic advice to corporations, coalitions, and trade associations, including local governments, public sector entities and technology hubs, among others. Before joining Greenberg Traurig, she served as a Chief of Staff to a senior member of Congress and as staff on the House Appropriations Committee.
