Two Greenberg Traurig Attorneys Selected to 2020 Colorado General Counsel Mentor Program

DENVER  – July 9, 2020 –  Shareholders Amy Kramer and Michi Tsuda of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP  have been selected for the 2020 Colorado General Counsel Mentor Program.

The program is designed to develop and strengthen relationships between talented law firm attorneys with diverse experiences and Colorado’s senior in-house legal community, according to the program’s website. Mentees have direct access to general counsel and senior in-house lawyers throughout the Denver Metro Area, who voluntarily participate in the program, with the goal of helping attorneys successfully grow their practice and expand their mutual networks. The program also gives insights into building and managing client relationships, selling legal services, and developing relationships with chief legal officers.

The 2020 Colorado General Counsel Mentor Program consists of one-on-one meetings, monthly webinars on various topics featuring a panel of participating general counsel, and in-person sessions designed to improve participants’ client management, business development, and networking skills.

“We are thrilled to have both Amy and Michi selected to represent Greenberg Traurig for the 2020 program.  As a past participant, I can vouch for how valuable this program is for mentoring diverse attorneys and expanding relationships between law firm attorneys and Colorado’s senior in-house legal community,” said Cuneyt A. Akay, Administrative Shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Denver Office.

Kramer advises clients on the protection of their intellectual property rights and establishing effective domestic and international brand management best practices. She also has experience in a broad range of litigation relating to intellectual property, contracts, business disputes, and regulatory matters.

Tsuda focuses his practice on operational, regulatory, transactional, and litigation matters in the health care sector. His clients include hospitals, physician groups, accountable care organizations, management services organizations, private-equity funds, sovereign governments, and health-related joint ventures.
