Samantha Ahuja Speaks at Boutique Lifestyle Leadership Conference

WASHINGTON – Oct. 28, 2021Samantha Ahuja, a shareholder of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Hospitality Practice, spoke at the Boutique & Lifestyle Lodging Association’s (BLLA) 2021 Boutique Lifestyle Leadership Conference. She participated on a panel titled “Awakening the Independent Spirit,” on Oct. 26, 2021.

The BLLA virtual conference included panels discussing category innovation, useful tactics, operations, and inspirational stories relating to boutique hospitality. Ahuja’s panel, which included Luis Gallotti, co-founder/co-CEO, Amek Groups; Omar Palacios, COO, CFO & Partner, Geolo Capital; Mark Keiser, chief development officer, EOS Hospitality; and Carolyn Schneider, partner & president, Casetta Group discussed BLLA initiatives and the panelists’ understanding of the “‘awakening’ that is happening in our beloved industry of daring leaders,” according to the event’s website.

Ahuja focuses her practice on hotel acquisitions, operations, development and finance, hotel management agreements, licensing agreements, and commercial real estate acquisition and sale. She advises domestic and international clients on the acquisition and disposition of hotels and other commercial property, hotel management and operations, franchising, licensing and branding, restaurant management agreements, lease negotiations, and casino agreements. Ahuja regularly prepares and negotiates purchase and sale agreements, financing and development agreements, and other documents related to the acquisition, financing, development, leasing, management, and disposition of real and personal property with a focus on hotels and resorts.
