Greenberg Traurig Elevates Laura Zentner to Local Partner

Greenberg Traurig elevates Laura Zentner, who specializes in intellectual property (IP), media, and entertainment, to Local Partner. The partnership of the American law firm thus grows to 21 shareholders and 8 local partners in Germany. Women shareholders in the German office make up almost 35%, which is far above the current market average. The elevations are effective as of January 1, 2021.

Laura Zentner focuses on projects in the areas of digitalization, outsourcing, cloud computing, software licensing, and digital media. She advises national and international clients on IP issues as well as copyright, media, and contract law. She has longstanding experience in advising media and entertainment companies, including structuring and financing the production of films and other content.

"IP often plays a central role in technology transactions, as well as in M&A and joint ventures. With the elevation of Laura Zentner, we are maintaining our course as a leading international transactional law firm. In the future, we will continue to further grow with digitalization topics and in future markets. The fact that we are once again elevating a partner from our own ranks is proof of our ongoing support for young talent," comments Peter Schorling, Managing Partner of Greenberg Traurig in Germany.
