Greenberg Traurig Advises Heimstaden on the Purchase of 100 Residential Units in Berlin

Greenberg Traurig advised Heimstaden, one of the largest Swedish housing companies, on the acquisition of a residential and commercial property with 100 residential units. The property is located in the Berlin district of Treptow-Köpenick and was sold by a family office. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

The complex was built in 1997. It comprises a total residential area of around 8,000 square meters as well as a commercial area of around 4,800 square meters and 134 parking spaces. All apartments in the complex are currently leased.

Greenberg Traurig comprehensively advised Heimstaden on all legal aspects of the transaction.

Background: The firm has already advised Heimstaden on several transactions, most recently on the acquisition of a Berlin residential real estate portfolio for 830 million Euros.
