Fred Karlinsky Named Insurance Law Trailblazer by The National Law Journal

FORT LAUDERDALE – March 30, 2021Fred E. Karlinsky, co-chair of the Insurance Regulatory and Transactions Practice at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., has been named a “2021 Insurance Law Trailblazer” by The National Law Journal (NLJ).

The National Law Journal’s Trailblazer series recognizes professionals who have moved the needle in the legal industry, according to the publication. The 2021 Insurance Law Trailblazer list is the inaugural supplement for the insurance law category, and spotlights honorees who have taken extra measures to contribute to positive outcomes.

Karlinsky, who is a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Fort Lauderdale and Tallahassee offices, is a member of the firm’s Insurance Practice. He has nearly 30 years of experience representing the interests of insurers, reinsurers, and a wide variety of other insurance-related entities on their regulatory, transactional, corporate, and governmental affairs matters.

Karlinsky is recognized as one of the nation’s top insurance lawyers by Chambers and Partners, has extensive knowledge of insurance compliance matters, and is a sought-after thought leader who has spoken and presented papers to insurance executives and governmental officials, both nationally and internationally. Among his many civic and industry leadership positions, Fred currently chairs the Florida Supreme Court Judicial Nominating Commission. He also teaches a course on Insurance Law and Risk Management at the Florida State University College of Law, where he chairs the Board of Visitors.
