Brittany Fisher focuses her practice on commercial and securities litigation, government investigations, and white-collar criminal defense. Brittany has experience responding to regulatory and law enforcement requests in a variety of industries, including the medical-device industry, the food and drug industry, and the health care industry. Additionally, Brittany defends corporations, directors, officers, and individual employees in criminal and civil matters. Finally, Brittany has knowledge of California’s civil motions practice and trial preparation procedures.

Brittany draws from her experience working for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia, where she conducted jury trials, evidentiary hearings, change-of-plea hearings, sentencing hearings, and grand jury proceedings. Brittany has worked with several federal agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, as well as many state and local agencies. 

Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Brittany also worked as a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C. office of another international law firm representing a medical-device company in a multi-state civil investigation and a major insurer in a coverage dispute related to securities litigation.

  • Represent members of special committee who are third parties and former defendants in a securities litigation matter involving merger between pharmaceutical companies.
  • Represent employee in health care fraud investigation conducted by DOJ.
  • Defend insurer from sprawling fraudulent scheme in preparation for anticipated 6-week jury trial.
  • Represented software technology company with meditation application in trademark infringement lawsuit, in which GT obtained dismissal of claims and sanctions award.
  • Advised company in food and drug industry regarding compliance with state and federal regulations governing controlled substances.
  • Obtained settlement on behalf of business insurance company and insured in breach of contract and negligence suit.
