- Represented Taisho Pharmaceutical Holdings Co., Ltd. in their $1.6B acquisition of UPSA SAS, a French-based pharmaceutical products manufacturer, from Bristol-Myers Squibb.°
- Represented Renesas Electronics Corporation in their $3.2B acquisition of Intersil Corporation, a U.S. based semiconductor manufacturer.°
- Represented Hitachi, Ltd. in its $1.245B acquisition of the Sullair brand air compressor business from Accudyne Industries.°
- Represented Tanaka Kikinzoku Kogyo, K.K., a Japanese company specializing in precious metals refining and fabrication, in its acquisition of Metalor Technologies International, S.A., a precious metals refining and fabrication company based in Switzerland.°
- Represented Hitachi, Ltd. and Hitachi Appliances, Inc. in the creation of an air conditioning manufacturing joint venture with Johnson Controls: Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air.°
- Represented TDK Corporation in the formation of its $3 billion joint venture with Qualcomm to provide industry leading radio frequency front-end (RFFE) modules and RF filters for mobile devices and for other fast-growing business segments, such as drones, robotics and automotive applications. °
- Represented Otsuka Holdings Co., Ltd., in its investments into, and subsequent acquisition of, ReCor Medical, a medical device company.°
- Represented Japanese publicly traded companies in their acquisition and development of infrastructure projects in Mexico and South America, including solar, wind, mining and desalination projects.
- Represented a U.S. publicly traded company with the development of multiple solar power projects in Japan.°
