Greenberg Traurig's Alan Greenfield (CHI) and David Oppenheim (NJ) will speak at the American Bar Association's 40th Annual Forum on Franchising in Palm Desert, California on October 18th-20th 2017. Alan's talk, "Mergers & Acquisitions - The Basics for Buying and Selling the System," will focus on the issues involved in the purchase and sale of a franchise system, including pricing, strucutre of the transaction, due diligence, and franchise regulatory issues. David's presentation, Franchise Whole Business Securitization - Structure, Regulatory and Operational Considerations," will discuss the administrative changes to the franchisor's system of operations and their potential impact on prospective and exisiting franchisees.
