Legal Issues for Aspiring Entrepreneurs and Startups

Attorneys from Greenberg Traurig's Boston office presented “Legal Issues for Aspiring Entrepreneurs and Startups” at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on Friday, January 31, 2020. Mian Wang, a Litigation associate and MIT alum, presented on litigation risks. Other speakers included GT attorneys Emily Ladd-Kravitz presenting on corporate formation and funding, Jaime Burke presenting on IP strategy, and Liz Georgiopoulos presenting on data privacy and records management. The presenters discussed best practices and mistakes to avoid for startups in these important areas.  Kevin Tyan, Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Kinnos, also presented on lessons learned in founding a healthcare company.
