Greenberg Traurig Renews Downtown Dallas Lease and Reaffirms Commitment to Dallas

DALLAS – June 3, 2015 – The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP recently signed a 10-year renewal lease for more than 35,000 square feet of office space in downtown Dallas. The firm occupies the entire 51st and 52nd floors of the Chase Tower at 2200 Ross Avenue, a 55-story skyscraper and one of the tallest buildings in Dallas. Greenberg Traurig has occupied office space in the Chase Tower since 2005.

“Greenberg Traurig is committed to Dallas. It’s exciting to be the founding office of Greenberg Traurig’s longtime investment in Texas. The Dallas Arts District is a prime location and a significant growth area, and we are proud to be part of it,” said Joe Coniglio, managing shareholder of the firm's Dallas office. “We are confident that our clients and our Dallas office will see years of growth to come.”

“This was a successful deal from our perspective. Hines, which owns the building and its broker, Colville Office Properties, worked diligently and collaboratively with our broker, CBRE, to address myriad issues in record time,” said Ralph Santos, a real estate attorney in Greenberg Traurig’s Dallas office who led the lease renewal project. “We knew we wanted to remain in the Central Business District near the Arts District and the new Klyde Warren Park. This new 10-year term will keep us in same location in downtown Dallas for almost a quarter of a century. In addition, a new option to expand onto the 53rd floor will accommodate our projected growth in the near term.  We could not be more pleased with the outcome.”
