Greenberg Traurig’s Brad Marsh to Speak at 2015 CalCPA Estate and Trust Conference

SAN FRANCISCO – June 18, 2015 – Greenberg Traurig, LLP Shareholder Brad Marsh will speak at the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA) annual mid-summer Estate and Trust Conference this week. He will be speaking at the Los Angeles conference June 18 and the San Francisco conference June 19.

According to the CalCPA website, the annual conference caters to CPAs, attorneys, and financial planners, highlighting the ever-evolving regulations pertaining to estate planning, asset transfers, trusts, and more. Marsh will be speaking on the “Property Tax Issues with Legal Entities” panel alongside Richard S. Moon, Tax Counsel IV with the State Board of Equalization.

Marsh is a member of Greenberg Traurig’s Tax Practice and is a frequent speaker and lecturer. He focuses on the areas of federal, state, and local tax controversy matters, including payroll, property, business license, employment, franchise, parcel, district, sales, documentary transfer, transient occupancy, utility user, income, parking, gift, and estate taxes. Marsh is an adjunct professor at both Golden Gate University’s Tax LL.M. Program and at Santa Clara University Law School. He is also a former city councilman in Larkspur, Calif.
