FORT LAUDERDALE and TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – June 24, 2015 – Fred E. Karlinsky, shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale and Tallahassee offices of international law firm Greenberg Traurig P.A., will serve as Co-Chair of the American Conference Institute’s (ACI) 10th National Forum on Insurance Regulation. He will welcome insurance industry leaders and decision makers July 29 at the start of the two-day conference at The Carlton Hotel in New York City.
Following his opening remarks, Karlinsky will moderate an informative three hour Regulatory Roundtable, “Federal and State Insurance Regulators Speak Out on New Priorities for 2015 And Beyond, Emerging Trends in State Regulation, Dodd-Frank Impact on State Agendas, & More: Gain Insights to Ensure Your Compliance Programs Are In Line With Upcoming Changes.”
Karlinsky is also a co-presenter on another session July 29, which focuses on “Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), ORSA and NAIC Corporate Governance Requirements.”
Karlinsky is Co-Chair of Greenberg Traurig's Insurance Regulatory and Transactions Practice Group and a shareholder within the Government Law & Policy Group. He represents insurers, reinsurers, producers and other insurance interests throughout the U.S. and internationally in a wide variety of business, operational, regulatory, transactional and governmental matters. Recognized as one of the top insurance lawyers by Chambers and Partners, Karlinsky has extensive knowledge of insurance compliance matters and is a sought-after thought leader who has spoken and presented papers to insurance executives and governmental officials, both nationally and internationally.
Karlinsky received a bachelor's degree from the University of Miami and a Juris Doctorate from the Florida State University College of Law, where he currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law.
