Greenberg Traurig’s David J. Dykeman Presents at 2015 Shenzhen International Biotechnology Summit in China

BOSTON — Sept. 16, 2015 — David J. Dykeman, patent attorney, co-chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Global Life Sciences & Medical Technology Group, and co-chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property (IP) Group in Boston, will present at the 2015 Shenzhen International Biotechnology Summit and Biological/Health Industry Expo, Sept. 23 - 25, 2015, in Shenzhen, China.

On Sept. 23, Dykeman will present at two sessions during the Shenzhen International Biotechnology Summit. He will be a featured presenter on the topic “New Technologies and Trends in Cell Therapy.” In addition, Dykeman will serve as a panelist for the program, “Policies and Regulations for Biologics, Healthcare Technologies and Medical Devices.”

A registered patent attorney with nearly 20 years of experience in patents, intellectual property, and licensing, Dykeman focuses his practice on securing strategic worldwide intellectual property protection and related business strategy for high-tech clients, with particular expertise in life sciences, medical devices, biotechnology, and healthcare IT. Dykeman is the founding co-chair of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Medical Devices Committee and serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Medical Device + Diagnostic Industry (MD+DI) Magazine.

An author of over 45 articles and a speaker at over 40 conferences on medical devices and life sciences intellectual property, Dykeman was honored as a “Life Science Star” by LMG Life Sciences, and was named one of the Top 250 Patent and Technology Licensing Practitioners in the world by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) Magazine.

The 2015 Shenzhen International Biotechnology Summit and Biological/Health Industry Expo will present attendees with a comprehensive discussion of global biotechnology development and will highlight the commercialization of biotech research findings. Over 40,000 industry leaders and investors from Asia, America, Europe, and Oceania, are expected to attend this year’s summit.
