Greenberg Traurig’s Scott Meza and Ryan Bradel To Speak About the M&A Government Contractor Environment

McLEAN, Va. – Oct. 17, 2016 – Scott Meza, a corporate shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Northern Virginia office, and Ryan C. Bradel, of counsel in the Government Contracts & Projects Practice in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, will address 2016 current trends and updates in the M&A government contactor environment during a live webcast presented by The Knowledge Group from 12 – 2 p.m. Oct. 20.

The webcast is titled “The M&A Environment for Government Contracts: Trends and Updates in 2016.” The discussion will include government contracting rules that affect M&A deals, representations and warranties for government contracting, navigating novation with government contracting, and due diligence issues.

Meza has more than 25 years of experience assisting businesses in complex transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs of public and private companies, and sophisticated equity and debt financings and recapitalizations. Meza’s broad industry experience includes managing transactions for technology-based companies as well as companies operating in highly regulated environments like government contracting, telecommunications, and health care.

Bradel focuses his practice on government contracts litigation matters and has successfully represented clients before the Court of Federal Claims, the Boards of Contract Appeals, the Government Accountability Office, the SBA’s Office of Hearings and Appeals, and state and federal courts. Additionally, Bradel represented numerous government contractors during mergers and acquisitions, and has guided companies through the risks, rewards, and legal obligations inherent in the contemplated transaction.
