Immigration MVP: Greenberg Traurig's Laura Reiff

An influential player in the world of immigration policy, Laura Reiff of Greenberg Traurig LLP has worked on legislation impacting the EB-5 visa program, tackled guest worker litigation and handled foreign investor petitions for a high-profile New York project, making her one of Law360’s 2016 Immigration MVPs.

Reiff, who co-chairs Greenberg Traurig’s business immigration group, handles everything from EB-5 visa issues to I-9 form compliance, and has her finger on the pulse of Capitol Hill. An advocate for the business community, Reiff frequently works on immigration legislation and has played a key role in reauthorization efforts for the EB-5 regional center program, which allows foreign investors to pool funds.

Navigating the political minefield of immigration is no small task, but Reiff brings decades of experience to the job. A nearly 30-year veteran of immigration law, she co-founded the Essential Worker Immigration Coalition in 1999, which works on immigration reform proposals, and is also a founding member of the EB-5 Immigration Coalition.
