Greenberg Traurig Assists Kayne Anderson with Acquisition

LOS ANGELES - May 5, 2017 - Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP assisted client Kayne Anderson Real Estate Advisors (KAREA), the real estate private equity arm of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, L.P., with the real estate aspects of a definitive merger agreement under which affiliates of KAREA will acquire Sentio Healthcare Properties, Inc. (Sentio) (backed by KKR (NYSE: KKR)) by way of a merger announced today.

Gregory A. Fishman, Co-Chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Los Angeles Real Estate Practice, led the firm’s multi-office team which also included significant contributions by Miami Real Estate Shareholder Gavin M. Loughlin, Miami Real Estate Associate Michael J. Larson and Tallahassee Health Care Shareholder Sonya C. Penley.
