Greenberg Traurig’s Nicole Silver Speaks at International Women in Arbitration Conference in Peru

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Jan. 31, 2019 — Nicole Y. Silver, shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig’s International Arbitration and Litigation Practice, will speak at the Peruvian Arbitration Institute’s International Women in Arbitration IPA Conference Jan. 31, in Lima, Peru. The conference brings together women dedicated to arbitration in their role as arbitrators, lawyers, general counsel, experts, magistrates, and professors, to discuss the current situation of women in the arbitration world and their vision for the future.

During one of the conference panel discussions, Silver will address relations between the members of the Arbitral Tribunal, particularly the president, co-arbitrators, and arbitration secretaries.

Silver focuses her practice on international arbitration and litigation. She advises Sovereign States and private clients in international arbitration proceedings, including arbitrations before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) under the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) Arbitration Rules, in a wide array of sectors, including energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, and the environment.
