BEIJING Nov. 13, 2019Kara M. Bombach, an International Trade Practice shareholder at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, and Dawn Zhang, co-managing shareholder of the firm’s Shanghai office, will participate in the Asia Legal Business 16th Annual In-House Legal Summit 2019, set for Nov. 21,2019 in Beijing. Historically, the summit has attracted over 300 in-house legal counsel annually from leading Chinese state-owned enterprises, publicly listed companies, private companies, as well as from global multinational companies to discuss recent regulatory changes, pressing legal issues, and best practice solutions in Hong Kong and the region.

Bombach will conduct a workshop titled “CFIUS Update – The Impact of the Foreign Risk Review Modernization Act of 2018 (FIRRMA) and Practical Guidance on Navigating the CFIUS process.” The presentation will dive in to the recent changes to the CFIUS process and how they could impact Chinese investment in the United States.
