Jennifer Hermansky Named to Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2019 ‘40 under 40’ List

PHILADELPHIA – April 17, 2019 – Noting her strong track record of leadership in the field of immigration law, the Philadelphia Business Journal named Greenberg Traurig, LLP Shareholder Jennifer Hermansky to its 2019 “40 Under 40” list.

“We’re proud of the contributions Jennifer has made and continues to make in her practice,” said Curtis B. Toll, managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Philadelphia office. “She is a great example of the smart, dynamic, and thoughtful attorneys that serve our clients, both in this city and throughout the firm. While Jennifer has been developing a national reputation for some time, it’s always special to be recognized in your hometown. Philadelphia has a great deal of legal talent, so the competition here is fierce.”

The publication reports fielding nearly 400 nominations this year for the 40 coveted slots.

Hermansky joined Greenberg Traurig in 2013 and was elevated to shareholder in 2017. She holds undergraduate and law degrees from Drexel University.

Hermansky is a member of the firm’s Immigration & Compliance Practice and the team that handles matters related to the EB-5 program. She first began working on EB-5 investor cases in 2009 and subsequently added regional center matters to her repertoire. She has since been involved in more than 100 regional center projects and has handled thousands of investor petitions. With a degree in finance and a background handling entrepreneurial cases for clients seeking E-2 or L-1 visas, Hermansky is intimately familiar with the business immigration process and applies this knowledge to all her EB-5 cases.

Hermansky assists EB-5 program participants from when they decide to file until they become U.S. citizens, as well as provide counseling of regional centers on the legal aspects of management, staffing, and compliance. She has been recognized as a leader in the industry, most recently as one of the “Top 25 EB-5 Attorneys” for EB5Investor magazine.

The “40 under 40” list is designed to recognize a cross-section of current and future leaders in a variety of industries in the city and region. The Philadelphia Business Journal will honor the 2019 winners on May 30 at the Event Center at SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia. A full feature article profiling the honorees will be published in the May 31 edition.
