The session will cover the business reasons behind why many organizations end up paying a ransom and how Business Continuity Planning can make or break a response. On March 9, Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Gretchen A. Ramos, Co-Chair of the Global Data, Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice, will deliver the keynote session, "New Global Data Protection Laws," from 12:00 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. EST. The session will discuss new privacy laws, structuring compliance efforts, obtaining leadership buy-in, leveraging outside counsel in building their programs, global cyber considerations, and emerging laws in Asia, Latin America, Europe, and the U.S..
