Morristown, NJ – March 6th, 2015: At an event to be held on Thursday, March 26th at the Meadow Wood Manor in Randolph, NJ, Greenberg Traurig, LLP will be honored by Family Promise of Morris County for 10 years of dedicated financial and material support. More than $80,000 has been donated by Greenberg Traurig, LLP to help Morris County families facing homelessness.
“We are so thrilled to be able to recognize the on-going support of the Florham Park office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP”, says Joann Bjornson, Executive Director of Family Promise of Morris County. “Though Morris County counts as one of the wealthiest counties in the country, about ¼ of the families here don’t make enough to be self- sufficient. A job loss, illness or even an unexpected car repair can result in temporary homelessness. Partners such as Greenberg Traurig, LLP make it possible for these families to get back on their feet.”
An Evening of Promise: Recognizing Volunteers and Community Service is an opportunity for community partners, volunteers and other suporters to enjoy dinner, a tricky tray and 50/50 raffle while honoring the commitment of Greenberg Traurig, LLP.

Family Promise of Morris County is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit organization dedicated to ending the crisis of homelessness faced by Morris County families by partnering with other public and private agencies, religious congregations and community volunteers to provide shelter, case management and mentoring services leading to self-sufficiency.
