Getting Together Tour

A Front Seat to an Epic GT Road Trip

Greenberg Traurig Executive Chairman Richard A. Rosenbaum and Chief Executive Officer Brian L. Duffy moved into an RV on April 10, 2021, and embarked on a cross-country tour of the law firm’s 30 U.S. offices. It’s all part of a safe and fun way our leadership has created to gather Greenberg Traurig attorneys and professional staff: the “Mel on Wheels Getting Together Tour.” The tour and the used RV are affectionately named in honor of Mel Greenberg, one of three co-founders of Greenberg Traurig, which started in Miami in 1967.

The Greenberg Traurig road trip is a personal passion for Richard and Brian, who will be driving and mostly living in “Mel on Wheels,” joined along the road by other firm leaders. They see this as an important time to reconnect with their GT family, reflect on the changing world, and safely socialize with attorneys and staff in cities nationwide.

To get in the spirit of the tour, every GT office has picked and shared a theme song. Access our playlist and listen along.

Greenberg Traurig kicked off its "Getting Together Tour" in Miami, the home of our founding office, on Saturday, April 10, 2021. Executive Chairman Richard Rosenbaum and CEO Brian Duffy came back to GT’s roots as they rolled into Tropical Park on Saturday to Will Smith’s "Miami" blaring from the speakers and cheers from some 180 employees. Must-haves for a good South Florida party -- sunny skies, warm breezes, and food in the form of box lunches prepared by a local favorite.

GT will be making a minimum of $75,000 donation to a charitable organization in every city the tour visits. The Chapman Partnership, which works with the homeless to provide meals, temporary housing, and support services, is the recipient of the Miami donation.
