Andrew Amos is a restructuring and special situations lawyer advising asset managers, funds and corporates on complex cross-border transactions including private credit, capital solutions, and restructurings.

Based in Singapore, Andrew works closely with Greenberg Traurig’s global finance and restructuring practices to support clients across APAC, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

Andrew has in-depth experience across energy, mining, real estate, financial services and entertainment, and regularly advises on multi-jurisdictional transactions involving creditors, sponsors, shareholders and management teams.

Drawing on senior buyside experience, Andrew advises clients from transaction origination through execution, bringing an investor-led perspective to complex capital structures, distressed situations, opportunistic investments and alternative assets.

  • Senior, unitranche and hybrid financings across aviation, automotive and offshore services businesses operating in Europe, North America, Latin America and the Middle East including:
    • £75 million term loan to a private aviation business;
    • $100 million loan to an offshore supply helicopter business; and
    • $120 million loan to an automotive manufacturer.
  • Rights issue-led recapitalizations and debt exchanges, including:
    • €150 million recapitalization of a European coal miner;
    • $200 million recapitalization of a European manufacturer; and
    • $235 million recapitalization of a Russian gold miner.
  • Balance-sheet restructurings of energy infrastructure, E&P and real estate businesses operating across North America, Africa and Europe, including:
    • Restructuring of $650 million term loan issued by Permian Basin infrastructure business;
    • Restructuring of $250 million of debt issued by West African E&P business; and
    • Restructuring of £150 million term loan issued by UK shopping centre business.
  • The acquisition and financing of alternative, real estate, financial and distressed assets, including:
    • €700 million of residential, hotel and mixed-use assets for institutional platforms;
    • £200 million of specialty finance assets for an asset manager; and
    • $300 million of music catalogue assets for institutional platforms and financial investors.
