Bardia’s practice focuses on defending high-profile and high-exposure product liability matters involving claims of wrongful death and catastrophic permanent injuries. He advises manufacturers and distributors of consumer products, pharmaceutical products, and medical devices.

A proud storyteller, Bardia understands the importance of conveying the story of his clients and their products. To achieve this, Bardia works closely with in-house engineers and scientists, as well as outside experts, to learn and present defenses in a persuasive manner to judges and juries across the country. Bardia’s immersive approach to understanding how his clients’ products are designed, developed, and operate allows him to create custom strategies to address his clients’ legal issues.

Bardia also advises his clients on regulatory compliance, risk management, and recall handling strategies based on frameworks set forth by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other agencies.

Bardia is experienced in all aspects of litigation, from initial case assessment, managing complex discovery (including discovery of electronically stored information or eDiscovery), strategic planning, and motion practice, to representing clients in trials and appeals. He also is experienced in defending complex litigation, such as nationwide consumer class actions, as well as consolidated multi-district litigations.
