16th Annual ABA Labor and Employment Law Conference

Greenberg Traurig is a proud sponsor of the 16th Annual American Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Conference held on November 9 - 12, 2022 in Washington, D.C. The conference will bring together speakers from private practice and government agencies for robust panels and dialogues. Dallas and Houston shareholder Jordan Cowman will present in a panel titled, "Securing Client Communications and Data" on Thursday, November 10 from 11:30 AM - 12:45 PM EST.  The panel will discuss how issues arise when client data crosses jurisdictional borders and provide guidance on protecting client data and communications, address cross-border attorney-client privilege issues and the various ways that jurisdictions view in-house counsel communications, and discuss comparative approaches to attorneys’ obligations to secure their clients’ data and communications.
